While the Nexus 5 is likely to hit the markets anytime soon, there has been news about Google planning to halt the production of the Nexus 4. However, here’s a piece of news that says otherwise. DroidLife has spotted a new filing at the Bluetooth SIG that seems to confirm an LTE Nexus 4.

If this is to be believed then Google may launch an LTE version of the Nexus 4 along with the Nexus 5. The Bluetooth SIG filing shows a device named “LGE LTE Mobile Phone LG-E960”. Needless to say, the original Nexus 4 was model LG-E960. However, reportedly this could be a sloppy posting by the Bluetooth SIG, and suggest taking this news with a pinch of salt.

Nexus 5 recently made a brief appearance on the Google Play Store . The device sported a price tag of $349 (Rs 21,330 approx.) for the 16GB model, but there didn’t seem to be any indications about a cheaper 8GB model. The Nexus 4 too had made its debut at the price point of $349 for the 16GB model but also had a cheaper $299 (Rs 18,277 approx.) 8GB variant. It is now being speculated that Google may not announce a cheaper 8GB Nexus 5 model and instead launch a cheaper LTE-enabled Nexus 4.

Going by the leaks, the Nexus 5 is likely to feature a 4.95-inch 1080p IPS TFT display, 8MP OIS rear snapper and 1.3MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, one will find 2.3GHz a Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Here’s what we know about the Nexus 5 , so far.
