[/caption]As London entered its third night of riots, people across the world have been both fascinated and horrified at the unfolding events.An extra 1,700 police officers were deployed in London, where shops were looted and buildings were set alight.
Birmingham, Liverpool, Nottingham and Bristol also saw violence.
#LondonRiots quickly came to be adopted as a hashtag and is now trending worldwide. Twiteratti from across the globe have been using it to share information, express their horror, anger and sadness, as well as to try and understand the reasons behind the rioting.
