Day 1 of Microsoft’s Build 2016 conference is over and boy, what a day it was! At a time when just about everything is leaked a few months in advance, when even Apple’s keynotes have long since lost their lustre, Microsoft’s opening keynote was something special. Changes to the Universal Windows Platform, the Windows 10 Anniversary update, Ink API, the cognitive bot framework, Bash within Windows and so much more were announced on Day 1. We doubt if anything can top that, but Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella has promised to deliver today as well. Follow the live blog below for up to the minute updates:

These kids aren’t writing simple code, they’re creating apps and using Azure. Another ‘wow’ is in order? Yes it is.
A project called Quest connects young kids and NASA together.
Now playing a video on Quest
Augmented reality with euphoria plug-in
The demo is running a Unity program.
The camera is pointed at an image and you can get a pop-out 3D model if you desire it.

Not being a developer, I’m sorry to say that I’ve no idea what that means.
