Link your Android and iOS devices for this Chrome Experiment game called Racer

When it comes to Chrome’s experiment games, you know you’ll never be disappointed. Google has been showing off a new experiment  called Racer on Google Chrome, which puts together Android and iOS devices to run a racing game involving multiple devices.

The game was displayed at Google I/O yesterday in order to show the browser’s ability to sync Android and iOS devices.The aim of the game is to control these Hot Wheels like tiny cars on a track that is created when these devices are put together.

Fun times with Chrome Experiment

You can connect up to five devices together to run Racer. Like most Chrome Experiments, this one doesn’t need a special download or app. You need to fire up Chrome on your Android or iOS phones and tablets and get going. Head on to g.co/racer with your mobile devices and follow the instructions to set the game up.

You need to control these cars when they appear on your device’s screen. Touch the screen to accelerate and release the brake. It isn’t as easy as it sounds, be warned! It will take you a few tries to get used to the controls. The game can serve as a great source of entertainment when a few of you friends meet up in a coffee shop and are really bored.
