With a price-tag of $349, the LG Watch Urbane costs the same as the cheapest version of the Apple Watch Sport. However, its stainless steel case and leather band makes it more of a rival to the stainless steel Apple Watch, which starts at $949. The LG Watch Urbane, which was first announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, comes in ether silver or gold. The posh-looking watch will also be among the first devices to give Google’s hand-drawn emoji feature a go. The device closely resembles the company’s LG Watch R which was launched in October 2014. The new device will also sport a full circular Plastic OLED (P-OLED) display with a natural leather strap that can be replaced with any other 22mm wide band. It offers a stainless steel body available in polished silver and gold finish variant. The LG Watch Urbane will have a thinner profile as well to target both men and women. The LG Watch Urbane features a touch-based user interface that is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and above. The 1.3-inch display comes with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and a pixel density of 245ppi. It will also feature a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The smartwatch will have a built in storage of 4GB and sport 512MB RAM. It measures 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9mm. With inputs from AFP
