LG Electronics India on 27 September launched new "K7i" smartphone for Indian consumers that features an innovative 'Mosquito Away' technology that, once activated, keeps mosquitoes at bay.
Launched at Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) 2017 here, the device is priced at Rs 7,990. Keeping in consideration the season's harmful mosquito-borne diseases and consumers' heavy spends on mosquito-repellent products, the company has set a benchmark for ensuring the health of the Indian consumers with this latest innovation, LG Electronics India said in a statement.
The consumers are ensured no disturbance or harm with this breakthrough technology, the statement added. The smartphone with 5-inch On-Cell display also sports 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. It has Quad-Core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage.
"LG is happy to announce the launch of this innovation. As a responsible brand we would like to introduce products based on Indian insights," said Kim Ki Wan, Managing Director, LG Electronics India. The device will be available soon across retail outlets.
Earlier in the month LG, unveiled another variant of the Q6 called the Q6+. The LG Q6+ not only looks identical to its older sibling, but also comes with similar hardware specifications, save for the RAM size and is priced at a hefty Rs 17,990.
