South Korean smartphone maker LG has just launched a new dual-SIM Android smartphone called L65 for the Russian market. It is the newest member of its latest smartphone series of Android smartphones which include L70 and L90 . The phone has appeared on the LG’s Russian website.   According to the site, L65 will come loaded with Android V4.4 (Kitkat) operating system out of the box. It has a 4.3 inch IPS display with a WVGA resolution (480x800) which is less than the L70 smartphone. Under its hood is a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB RAM. This is the same configuration which we saw in L70 and L90 models too.   The L65 has a 5MP rear camera that comes with autofocus feature but no LED Flash. The front camera comes with a meagre 0.3 megapixel resolution. This is in sharp contrast to 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front camera which we saw in L90 as well as L70 models.   L65 has 4GB of built-in storage space which can be further expanded up to 32GB courtesy the microSD card slot provided with the phone. Connectivity features that come loaded with the phone include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, EDGE/GPRS, microUSB and 3G.   Powering the L65 is a removable 2100 mAh battery. The phone weighs 126 gms and is available in White and Black colours. L65 has dimensions of 127.2x66.8x9.6mm which makes it a mere 00.1 thicker than L70 smartphone.   L65 also comes with LG’s proprietary Knock Code feature. LG has also designed smart covers for the phone that will enable the user to instantly access information such as weather, clock and music, without opening the flap. The user can also accept or reject an incoming call using the cover.
