It’s finally here. Google and LG’s Nexus 4 device has been launched in India for Rs 25,990 a day after it was spotted on Flipkart.
The smartphone is due to be launched in 4th week of May according to the website. The device has faced quite a delay in India and previously it was reported that this was due to LG and Google fighting over the price of the phone.
In the US LG-manufactured Google smartphone starts at $299 for 8GB which comes to Rs 16,300 while the 16GB version is for $349 which is around Rs 19,900. Flipkart is selling the 16GB verion of the device.
So what are the key features of the device:
The device has a 4.7-inch screen with 1280768 resolution, True HD and IPS (In Panel Switching), and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera instead of the 13 megapixel version in the Optimus G. The device has Qualcomm’s quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.5Ghz along with 2GB RAM.
The phone has no Micro-sd card slot. The device supports NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0. No support for LTE for now but has an an unlocked pentaband DC-HSPA+ (High Speed Packet Access which comes to 42Mbps).
