LG will be bringing its new flagship smartphone this year with a hope of doing better than what the G5 did last year. The upcoming LG G6 has leaked on a number of occasions in the past, and now we have another leak.
Case maker Ringke seems to have spilled the beans, showing renders of the LG G6 quite clearly in white and black shades. It matches most of the previous leaks and honestly, we think that the handset looks quite good.
LG will offer a pretty good screen to body ratio with thin bezels and of course, a clean front with no buttons. At the back, we can see the dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor embedded in a round power button placed just below the camera.
The USB Type-C port and loudspeaker sit at the bottom edge, a volume rocker is on the left edge, SIM tray on the right and the headphone jack is up top.
LG is expected to announce the smartphone on 26 February at MWC in Barcelona. According to previous leaks we are expecting features like a 5.7-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 821 SoC (since Samsung is hogging the 835 for the S8), 6GB of RAM, and hopefully 64GB of storage.
There is also a speculation that the G6 will come with Google Assistant which has been exclusive to the Pixel family, which also indicates that the smartphone will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
