A lot has been already said and written about the LG G3’s looks and specs. Just ahead of its expected May 27 launch, the rumour mills just don’t seem to halt. We had earlier reported that the G3 is expected to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 system-on-chip with a 2.5GHz processor on board, a 3000mAh battery and was rumoured to sport a 13MP rear camera. G3 was likely to come with the Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. We can finally put our speculations to rest as we believe it is safe to conclude the rumours were right on most of the counts. For starters, the G3 will be sporting a 5.5” Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 as per presentation slides discovered by gforgames . The slide compares the G3’s display to the Galaxy S5 without mentioning the latter’s name. Along with the big screen the G3 is also expected to have a 1 watt booster amp which we presume enhances the audio output. Last year’s G2 came with support for hi-res 24-bit/192kHz music files, so LG is building on the audio features too. Additionally LG seem to have caught on to the manufacturer trend of focussing on selfies. The back mounted hardware buttons could be used to control the smartphone’s 2.1 MP front facing camera. We can also confirm the 32 GB expandable memory and 3 GB RAM on the LG G3, thanks to these slides. Apart from these revelations earlier in the day, LG had given us a sneak peek into the new case it plans to launch. The company has officially announced the new QuickCircle for the **G3** . The case shows a circular opening on the front that can help performs several functions without the need to open the case. In its press note, the company has revealed that the folder-style case will allow users to enjoy various features such as check the time, place calls, send text messages, take photos, listen to music or get an update of their health, without ever having to open the cover.
