One of the consistent rumours about the Galaxy S5 that didn’t materialize was a 2560 x 14400 or a **2K display** . Now, according to prolific tipster @evleaks, LG’s G3 could come equipped with a similar QHD display. The tweet shows a screenshot with model number D850, hinting that the G3 may come with a 2K display. If this piece of news turns out to be true then the G3 will be the first mainstream Android device to feature a 2K display, unless some other company beats it to the punch. The company is believed to be pushing for a June or July launch for the G3 to compete with high-end flagships from Samsung, HTC and others. Rumours circulating the web reveal that Samsung also plans a Galaxy S5 model with 2K display for sometime later this year. Not much is known about the G3’s other specs yet, however given the recent trend, LG would likely include a fingerprint scanner for its next flagship. Though its flagship is planned for later this year, LG unveiled the **G Pro 2 at the MWC** this year. However, the G Pro 2 will be competing with the large screen phablets. At **5.9 inches** , it is indeed one of the biggest on the market, competing with the likes of the Oppo N1 and the new voice tablets from HP. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Other specs include a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 4K video recording with OIS,a 1-watt speaker system, “metal mesh” back cover, and 32GB internal storage with expandable storage. LG has also announced a **4G LTE** version of the LG G2 for India.
