Serial leaker @evleaks is at it again. This time it has reportedly managed to source what it refers to as official press shots of the LG G2 smartphone. The smartphone, by the way, is set to be unveiled shortly.
Is this the LG G2?
The so-called official press image of the LG G2 smartphone that you can see above shows an edge-to-edge display and a volume button under the camera on the back. We had a clue about the rather weird volume button arrangement on the G2 thanks to a few pictures that were leaked previously. Also, the display on the LG G2 is said to be 5.2-inches diagonally with a 1080p resolution in keeping with the competition.
Not only will G2 be the first smartphone to be launched as part of the company’s new “G” series, upcoming smartphones in the same series too will carry the G branding. The branding of phones that have already been introduced, however, will remain unchanged, LG confirmed last month.
Another leaked shot
The company even released a new ad campaign last month. A new teaser video was released as part of the campaign. It includes just about everything from the number of friends you make and words you know to how many times you laugh, cry and even dream in your lifetime. It ends with the line that says, “To me, you are perfect.” The end of the video also gives a glimpse of the backside of the phone, showing off the rear camera with up and down arrows (above and below it). LG then puts up a title saying “Come See…How LG G2 is learning from you.”
