LG has announced its all new G Pad III 8.0 tablet in its home market of South Korea. The tablet that was launched a few days ago in Canada now carries a price tag of KRW 330,000 in South Korea which is approximately Rs 18,500. The LG G Pad III 8.0 is a mid-range device and packs in an 8-inch IPS Full HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The tablet features a “reader mode” that reduces blue light to reduce eye strain while browsing the web and reading e-books. It weighs 309 grams, is just 7.9mm thick and will be available in Indigo Black and white. Inside, we get a 1.5GHz octa-core chipset that is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The device also features a microSD card slot for expandable memory. There is an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing unit. Coming to connectivity we get Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and micro USB port at the bottom end. The tablet is powered by a 4,800mAh battery. On the software side of things you Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Along with this users will also get Microsoft’s basic Office package that includes apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. LG has just launched its G5 flagship smartphone in India. The LG G5 is priced at Rs 52,990 online and packs in the latest hardware including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
