Lenovo's Yoga Book launched in India: Offers its thinnest hybrid laptop at Rs 49,990

The Lenovo Yoga Book will only be available in the Windows version that is powered by Microsoft's Windows 10.

Lenovo has launched its unique 2-in-1 hybrid laptop in India. The Yoga Book is claimed to be the thinnest hybrid in its segment and was unveiled earlier this year at IFA 2016. Apart from being a thin machine, the laptop also features touch-based keyboard which the company calls 'Halo Keyboard'. The PC giant has priced its hybrid laptop at Rs 49,990 and it will only be available in the Windows version that is powered by Microsoft's Windows 10. The laptop goes on sale today and will be available in the Carbon Black finish.

Basically it's a full touchscreen keyboard which is back-lit. There are no physical keys and you type just like an onscreen keyboard on a tablet. This keyboard also learns usage patterns and improves over time by adapting to users habits. It also comes with a 'real-pen' accessory that can be used to draw on the halo keyboard.

Moving to the specifications, it features a 10.1-inch Full HD 1920x1200 resolution IPS LED touchscreen display and an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor a quad-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Inbuilt storage is 64GB which can be expanded further using a microSD card of up to 128GB. Other features include an 8MP auto-focus rear camera, 2MP fixed-focus front camera, Dolby Atmos audio, a 8,500mAh battery and also a nano SIM card slot. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
