The new variant of the Vibe X2 is said to sleeker and larger. First spotted by PhoneArena, the images of the upcoming device surfaced on the Chinese website TENNA. The new variant will see a slight bump in the screen size- an increase from 5-inches to 5.3-inches. Reports point at a Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The Vibe X2’s successor will also shed some weight. It is about to get sleeker from 7.3mm to 6.8mm. The company has also upgraded the front camera from 8MP to 5MP, the rear one is retained at 13MP. The new device isn’t just about upgrades, Lenovo also plans to cut down the clock speed from 2.0GHz to 1.5GHz. However, the company will maintain the octa-core Mediatek processor The Vibe X2 is known for its layered metal design, and the leaked pictures of the new variant hint at the same design. There is no word on the availability or pricing yet.
