Lenovo is now rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for it’s Vibe S1 smartphone in India. Head of Product and Marketing for Lenovo India Anuj Sharma made the announcement via Twitter.

For Vibe S1 users, a notification will pop up on their smartphones once the new software is ready to download. The download is reportedly 1.6GB in size respectively.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5-inch full HD IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution along with 440ppi. It sports a curved Gorilla Glass 3 towards the back and a metal edge runs around the phone. It’s powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus, an 8MP main front-facing shooter along with a 2MP secondary front camera. The company claims that the Lenovo Vibe S1 is the first smartphone with two front facing cameras. In terms of connectivity, the device includes dual-SIM cards, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. A 2500 mAh battery completes the package.
