Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo with 5.5-inch display, 16MP camera and 4900mAh battery launched

Lenovo has launched the Vibe P1 Turbo in Indonesia at a price of IDR 3,999 (approximately Rs 20,000). The device is now available for pre-order and will be offered in silver, Graphite gray and gold colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 401ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In other features, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes NFC, USB OTG, FM Radio, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and WiFi Hotspot. A 4900mAh battery completes the package. The devices measures 75.6 mm x 4.6-9.9 mm x 152.9 mm and weighs 187 grams.

Lenovo India has also announced that its Vibe K4 Note smartphone will now be available without registrations. The company has stated that it received over 1.1 million registrations on Amazon India and, also stated that it sold 180,000 units since the first flash sale.

Last month, Lenovo introduced the heavily anticipated Lenovo K4 Note smartphone at a price of Rs 11,999. First launched in India, the company said that it plans to manufacture more and more smartphones in India. In addition, the company was also offering five different wood designs as well. The company had also launched a VR headset for the K4 Note in partnership with ANT VR, which can be purchased separately at Rs 1,299, or with the device itself, for Rs 12,499 respectively.
