Lenovo started off with the Vibe series as its premium line of smartphones with the Vibe X and Vibe Z back in 2013. However, it gradually brought the series to the budget segment. The latest leak points to the fact that Lenovo might add another affordable handset to the series called the Vibe C. The handset was spotted on a Croatian e-retailer eKupi , which is selling it for around $105 (Rs 6,900 approx) on pre-order with shipments starting from 18 May.

The upcoming smartphone could be a replacement to the A2010 which was launched in India last year as one of the most affordable 4G handsets in the market. The Vibe C is expected to come with a polycarbonate body but would have a similar design as the recently launched Vibe K5/K5 Plus. It will feature a 5-inch IPS display with a 720p resolution.

The leaked specifications say that it will run on a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz which is a 32-bit chipset. There will be 1GB of RAM, possibly two storage variants (8GB/16GB) depending on the market, and a microSD expansion slot supporting up to 32GB of memory cards.

The handset will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top and will have two SIM card slots both of which will support 4G LTE. Other features are said to include a 2,300mAh battery that would go on for a full day, a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP front snapper for taking selfies. The usual connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
