Lenovo to launch Yoga Book, its latest 2-in-1 computing device on 13 December in India

Lenovo has announced that it will be launching the latest Yoga Books in India in the coming week. According to the company, the Yoga Book to be launched are the thinnest products in ‘2-in-1’ form factor. The company has shown off both the products during IFA 2016 with both Windows as well as Android versions on display. The  Android variant is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor clocked at 2.40GHz running on Android Marshmallow 6.0. Lenovo offers up to 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, 64GB internal storage and a microSD card slot with up to 128GB card support. The 2-in-1 comes with an 8500mAh lithium-ion battery with general usage time of up to 15 hours. The device is made of metal and will be available in Carbon Black, Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold. Yoga Book also includes a Create Pad with Capacitive touch and EMR Pen technology which can be used to digitally record notes in your handwriting. Lenovo has added an 8MP camera module with Auto-Focus on the back along with a 2MP camera module with fixed-focus on the front. You can get Yoga Book Sleeve, Real Pen, Pad and Pad Paper in addition to the ‘Real Pen’, ‘Book Pad’ and ‘Real Pen Ink Refills’ included in the box along with one year warranty. The Windows variant of the device is similar to the Android variant regarding specs with one notable exception. This variant is only available in Carbon Black colour. The device runs Windows 10 and Microsoft Office comes preinstalled on the device. There are no details on pricing of the device, but Android version is available in the US for $499.99 (Rs 33,800), and the Windows version is available for $549.99 (Rs 37,200).
