Lenovo’s Thinkpad users in India are expected to soon get a bite of the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade, reports Zee News . So, despite the steady inflow of newer models, Lenovo definitely doesn’t plan to dump the older ones.
To get a bite of ICS?
Moreover, recently Lenovo’s Social Media Program Manager, Mark Hopkins, posted on the company’s official forum ,”I believe that our current course will be to go directly to Android 4.0 (ICS) on this product and I believe that will still be a few months away. Hopefully I’ll have some official words to give on that soon. In the meantime, we are continuing to work on interim OTA updates to address issues raised by the community.”
He also said that things can change and Lenovo wants to be sure that there are adequate tests before bringing anything to users and preferred not to rush into things.
