The Lenovo Miix 10 tablet is finally up for pre-order on the company’s store at a starting price of $479 (Rs 29,000 approximately). The 10.1-inch display on the Miix is powered by a 1.80GHz Intel Atom Z2760 processor with 2GB of RAM.

This Lenovo tablet runs the Windows 8 OS and other specifications include a microSD slot and an optional case with a built-in keyboard that can be used to use this tablet as a notebook, depending on the need.
The built-in webcam on the tablet comes with Veriface Face Recognition Software, thanks to which a user’s face becomes his password. The webcam essentially uses stored images of a user’s face to allow them to quickly login. Additionally, it supports multiple users.

The company site says that the Miix 10 tablet will start shipping on August 29.
