Lenovo launches Haswell-powered IdeaPad Z510 multimedia notebook for Rs 52,954

Lenovo has announced the launch of its newest IdeaPad series with the model Z510. The Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 will offer 4th generation Intel Haswell Core i5 or Core i7 processors with NVIDIA graphics solution along with an integrated DVD drive to provide you with a complete multimedia notebook. Pricing is expected to start from Rs 52,954 onwards.   The Z510 weighs around 2.2kg. It comes with JBL speakers and Dolby Home theater. The Z510 will come bundled with Windows 8.1 OS and will have a 15.6-inch HD LED display with an anti-glare coating. On the storage front, Lenovo have included a hybrid 1TB SSHD which is quite thoughtful and will give a much better performance than a standard HDD.   The Z510 will come with NVIDIA graphics solution, although Lenovo haven’t exactly mentioned the exact model number. Considering this is being positioned as a multimedia notebook, it is safe to assume that the graphics solution will most likely not be an NVIDIA GTX part but an NVIDIA GT part.   The IdeaPad Z510 will come with a backlit chiclet type keyboard. The touchpad will support multitouch gestures that should help navigate Windows 8 easier. Lenovo claims that the Z510 will give a battery life of 6 hours, though we cannot vouch for that till we see the performance.
