Lenovo K6 Power launched: Features Snapdragon 430 chipset, 4,000mAh battery at Rs 9,999

Chinese tech company Lenovo has announced a new budget smartphone for its customers in India. After a number of teasers the new K6 Power has just gone official at a price tag of Rs 9,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from 6 December at 12PM. As the name suggests, the smartphone’s highlight is indeed the large 4,000mAh battery, which Lenovo claims provides long lasting battery life. The smartphone features a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS display, housed in an all-metal unibody design along with dual-SIM support. ![lenovo-vibe-k6-power-launch](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/lenovo-vibe-k6-power-launch.jpg) Inside, we get Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with an Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. There’s 3GB RAM and 32GB storage with support for microSD cards of upto 128GB in capacity. Coming to the cameras the K6 Power features a 13MP rear camera which is a Sony IMX258 sensor along with PDAF and and LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with a Sony IMX219 sensor and wide-angle lens. A fingerprint scanner sits at the back. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (with VoLTE support), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio and a micro-USB port at the bottom. The smartphone will be available in three colour options- gold, silver and grey. The Lenovo K6 Power will directly compete with the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime which was launched in India earlier this year and is priced at Rs 8,999.
