Lenovo confirms the Moto Z2 Play will feature a 3,000 mAh battery

Moto Z2 Play is expected to feature a 3,000 mAh battery and similar design as its predecessor.

A few days ago we saw the complete Moto lineup for 2017 leak in a company slide. We know that the Moto Z range this year will have two variants but Lenovo has confirmed that the Moto Z2 Play is coming and will have a 3,000 mAh battery.

The company recently tweeted saying, "Moto Z2 Play has Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery." This is lower than what the Moto Z Play which was launched last year with a 3,150 mAh battery. This could be a move to reduce the overall thickness of the handset.
