Lenovo is about to launch its A7000 handset in India on April 7. Expected to be priced around Rs 10,000, the Lenovo A7000 will succeed the just released Lenovo A6000. While there are still some days to go for that, a recent leak of the AnTuTu benchmark reveals the A7000’s benchmark score.  As seen above, the benchmark score is higher than that seen on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Xiaomi Mi 4. We will still have to confirm this while actual testing when we get the phone in our labs. The Lenovo A7000 will come with MediaTek MT6752m SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which is paired with 2GB of RAM. Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress this year, the new Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It claims to be the first phone to sport a Dolby Atmos sound. On the camera front, Lenovo A7000 has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It has onboard storage of 8GB which can be expanded via the microSD card slot. The dual-SIM smartphone will run the latest version of Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB. The device is powered by a 2,900mAh battery. The device weighs 140 grams and will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White.
