Global internet conglomerate LeEco’s first “Chief Experience Officers (CEO) Programme” has become an outstanding success on LeMall.com—the recently launched marketplace e-commerce website—receiving more than 1,00,000 registrations. In less than a second, the first 200 applicants grabbed LeEco’s Rs 11,999 smartphone Le 2 for free and a privilege card offering numerous benefits to them, the company said in a statement. “The immense success of the programme shows the growing popularity of LeEco’s Le 2, given its distinctive features, unbeatable content experience and CDLA technology which is a world first,” the company said. The CEOs are part of the company’s CP2C (Customer Planning to Customer) initiative, whereby, these people will give feedback to the company to help it improve the user experience of the superphones. Registrations for the first flash sale of both Le 2 and Le Max2 are currently available on both Flipkart and LeMall. The first flash sale for Le 2 and Le Max 2 will start on June 28 along with various offers. LeEco’s 200 CEO programme is something along the lines of Microsoft’s Insider Program. The selected “CEOs” will receive the Le 2 smartphone and will have early access to beta roms and updates. These “CEOs” will help LeEco spread the word about their products as well as troubleshoot issues with early ROMs. With inputs from IANS
