LeEco Super3 smart TVs launched starting at Rs 59790, available starting 10 August

LeEco has entered the Indian TV market with its Super3 series, and not the latest Super 4 as many expected. It has announced a trio of TVs with two 65-inch models and a 55-inch model namely, Super3 Max65, Super3 65 and Super3 55. https://twitter.com/tech2eets/status/761106354450804740 Setting foot in the Indian TV market, dominated by the likes of Samsung, Sony and LG, LeEco is betting big on its content ecosystem and disruptive pricing. It will bundle content streaming services worth Rs 4,999/year with the TVs. The Super3 X55 is the cheapest of the three priced at Rs 59,790, while the Super3 Max 65 and Super3 65 are priced at Rs 1,49, 790 and Rs 99,790, respectively. However, the said prices don’t seem very affordable either. In terms of hardware and specs, the new Super3 TVs feature 4k UHD resolution along with LG IPS display and 178-degree viewing angle. The high-end Super3 Max 65 supports FPR 3D 4K UHD along with the Boundary Blur Enhancement ability. The cheapest 55-inch model is equipped with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. On the other hand, the 65-inch models gets 3GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage. All three are powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with Mali GPU. On the audio front, the TVs come equipped with 2.1 stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS support. The specs sheet includes support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 Available on LeMall.com and Flipkart from August 10-12, LeEco aims at attracting consumers with instant Rs 5000 discount for those using HDFC credit cards. LeEco is also offering free shipping and installation, and the TVs are backed by two years of unit warranty and fours years panel warranty.
