LeEco launches its expansive ecosystem in US; Ecophones, EcoTVs, EcoPass and much more

LeEco officially announced the launch of its broad ecosystem in the US at the “Ignite the Eco World” launch event in San Francisco. The company has been working on the launch since last few months **with behind the scenes** work going on at full throttle. During the launch event, it announced interesting services and products. UP2U LeEco announced its User Planning to User (UP2U) program to ensure that the customer feedback leads to changing the products to be better in future. According to the program, all the feedback collected by user trials, social media channels, live events and submissions from the on-device apps is sent to User Experience Center (UEC) and Research and Development (R&D) teams. Rob Chandhok, Chief R&D Officer for LeEco North America, added ““We developed the UP2U model to let users directly influence how our products and services evolve. We have a dynamic process for gathering and implementing the feedback into every aspect of our business from design, R&D and software, to pricing and even the content we deliver.” [caption id=“attachment_342257” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] ![Image Credit: LeEco](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Super4-X55_Front-eui.jpg) Image Credit: LeEco[/caption] LeEco Ecosystem User Interface (eui) LeEco announced the launch of its custom user interface ’eui’ which provides a unique interface for the user to interact with the entire ecosystem. The user is not limited by the different devices, software,  devices content, apps and platforms. All the content is available across devices to solve the problem of fragmented user experience. To make the entire experience easier, LeEco has introduced LeView as the centre of accessing content where users can just go to the “LeView” to check all their content along with recommendations. LeView is joined with other apps like LeLIVE and LeApp to give you quick access to TV channels and entertainment and programming respectively. Also, the company has opened its Video Cloud platforms spanning across 60+ countries and major cities. The cloud platform is supported with 750 nodes making it the largest CDN node player in the world to make content delivery as easy as possible. Content The company has amassed approximately 5,000 movies and 10,000 television episodes attracting more than 50 million users every day. The numbers increase to more than 730 million active users in China. LeEco has partnered with top content providers like MGM, Showtime, Lionsgate, Vice Media and others with more being added every week. The company will gradually step into original content with Le Vision Pictures to produce new content by the company. It announced the launch of Le Vision back in September to create content in the English language.
