LeEco has just entered the Indian market with the launch of its superphones, the Le 1s budget smartphone and the Le Max flagship. For now it is only the LeEco Le 1s that has hit Flipkart, and while the first flash sale has yet to take place, LeEco seems to be pretty confident about its products.
Well, firstly according to LeEco it had more than 1 lakh registrations on Flipkart within 24 hours after the bookings opened. Now, the company has gone all out with its service network, by providing an extensive after sale service network in India. The company today announced the opening of 555 service centers covering more than 300 towns in India.
According to LeEco, its service centres will also provide 24x7 toll free voice support as well. The same would be available in English, Hindi, Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.
More impressive seems the warranty policies. Smartphones that have not crossed their one year warranty period will be replaced with a brand-new one if users face quality issues. Making the after sales service an even sweeter deal, is free pick-up and drop for Le Max owners.
LeEco's focus in India, is not just smartphones and other electronics, but the company's own content ecosystem, a point that LeEco India CEO, Atul Jain highlighted during the smartphone launch event. LeEco is massive in China and know for its 'Ecosystem', that consists of apps products that are basically tools to provide content to its customers. In India, LeEco has tied up with big names for delivering local content, like Eros International, which should provide give a value add for LeEco smartphone owners.
