Leaked screenshot reveals Moto G (second generation) with 4G, bigger battery

Motorola has accidentally leaked a new variant of its **second-generation Moto G** in Brazil. The description of the device showed that the phone would have a bigger battery and 4G capability. It has subsequently been pulled down. Motorola’s Brazil website also mentioned that the new device would have 4G capabilities with 16Gb onboard storage and removable external memory up to 32GB. The 4G model has a battery capacity of 2,390mAh, while the current model comes with 2,070mAh battery. Take a look at the screenshot taken by Android Police below: [caption id=“attachment_248021” align=“aligncenter” width=“640”] ![Image: Android Police](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/leaked_moto_g.jpg) Image: Android Police[/caption] A Moto G with bigger battery and 4G capability would work with countries with high-speed Internet. In India, 4G isn’t widely available, but players like Airtel are trying to extend the services to most cities here. If the device is released for the Indian market, it will compete with the **Redmi Note 4G** , that is now being sold on Flipkart and also via Airtel stores. In fact, with the Redmi Note 4G, Airtel is urging users to move to its 4G services and is offering lucrative deals in this regard. Motorola announced the Moto G second generation last year in September. It comes with a larger, 5-inch display and an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP one on the front, which is a jump from the previous Moto G’s 5MP rear shooter and 1.3MP front camera. It’s a dual SIM phone available in 8GB and 16GB versions. The 16GB version is priced at Rs 12,999, exclusively on Flipkart, and cheaper than the original Moto G.
