While there is plenty of news about Motorola’s G4 and G4 Plus models (which was rumoured
to be the flagship), there has been little to no news about the next flagship X series smartphone, until today. A device tagged as the Motorola XT1650 showed up on bench-marking website Geekbench shedding some light on a smartphone that has so far, only leaked out in a live image
. As revealed by mobipicker
, the benchmark listing shows a handset called the Motorola XT1650 which packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Also revealed through the benchmark is the Android version that the smartphone is currently being tested with and that would be Android 6.0.1. The Moto X scores performed fairly well with a 2309 single core score and 5344 multi-core points, which is pretty much the standard stuff that we have come to expect from flagship smartphones these days. Apart from the Moto G4 and the G4 Plus there is a small chance that the Moto X could also be launched on 9 June as indicated by Lenovo CEO. According to previous leaks
, the Moto G (2016) is expected to pack in a 5.5-inch display, 13MP camera and 16GB of internal storage. The Moto G Plus is also expected to get similar hardware specifications with 5.5-inch display, a 16MP camera and 16GB of internal storage with prices starting from 280 Euros (approximately Rs 21,000).
