These will be Atom processors having SKU number Z34XX. One of these Merrifield chips will be targetted at Android tablets whereas the other will be a 64-bit variant of the Bay Trail-T which is meant for both Windows as well as Android tablets.   Bay Trail-M processor is expected to come out in March and this will be seen inside 2-in-1 devices in addition to notebooks with touch support. In April, expect to see the Haswell refresh for desktops and notebooks as well as the launch on Intel’s ultra low-power SoC family - Quark X1000.   May will see Intel coming out with the 9-series motherboards. In September at the Intel’s Developer Forum in San Francisco, Intel is expected to launch an update to its Moorefield line of Atom processors, again based on the Silvermont architecture. Haswell E-series line of processors are also expected to be announced around this time. Finally, towards the end of the year we should expect Intel to launch the Airmont architecture based on the 14nm process node whose first product will be a Cherry Trail SoC.   All these are leaked details, so naturally, they may or may not follow the said timelines. We shall however find out more about Intel’s plans at their MWC event soon.
