Another day, another quad-core smartphone launch.
The latest device is by Lava called Iris 458q and is available for Rs 8,999.
The device comes with a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor and runs Android 4.2 version of Jelly Bean. The device has a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with FWVGA resolution. It comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.

It has an 8MP rear auto-focus camera with built-in flash. It also carries a front VGA camera for video calling and has a 2000 mAh battery. In terms of sensors it has a Proximity, Light & G Sensor. This is a 3G smartphone.
The device has comes with pre-loaded apps such as WeChat, Ebook reader to name a few. The phone will be available across all major retail and online stores.
