 "Lava launches Etab Connect tablet for Rs 9,499")
Lava International has launched its Etab Connect tablet, which it claims offers users the dual benefit of calling and entertainment. The Etab Connect runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablet offers 3G data connectivity for voice and video calling via a built-in SIM card slot. The company has priced the Etab Connect tablet at Rs 9,499.
The tablet runs on a Qualcomm 1GHz processor, and has 512MB of RAM. It also has a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Etab Connect is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery. The tablet measures 194x123.3x9.8mm and weighs 350g.
Offers 3G data connectivity for voice and video calling

As with the previous products launched by the company under the Etab brand, Connect comes with pre-installed content like Merit Nation, EduKart, BIGFLIX, Hungama, Uahoy, Diamond Comics and ReadWhere. Lava claims that it provides content worth Rs 15,000 on the tablet.
It goes on to add that consumers get free Vedic maths content and a discount of Rs 4,000 on meritnation.com packages. In addition, they get an entertainment package worth Rs 2,000 for free from Hungama.com, while BigFlix provides unlimited movie streaming at just Rs 1 for the first month. A free career booster package and additional 20 percent discount from edukart.com is also included in the price.
