Lava International Limited launched two entry level 4G smartphones, aimed to give a faster mobile browsing experience. The A72 and the A76 are launched, while the A89 is announced. All these phones have 1.5 GHz Quad Core Processor and 1 GB RAM.

Lava_A_72 The Lava A72 is priced at Rs 6,499. It has a 5 inch display. Lava A72 sports a 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash on both the front and the back. The A72 is powered by a 2500 mAH Li-Polymer battery. It is available in two colour schemes, but the difference may not be apparent in the right lighting conditions. The colour combinations are white/gold and blue/black. The A72 includes GPS connectivity. The phone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop, but is guaranteed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The Lava A76 is priced at Rs 5,699. The rear camera is 5.0 megapixel unit with LED flash. On the front is a VGA camera with an LED flash. The A76 is powered by a 1850 mAH Li-ion battery. It is available in two colours, black and white. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Lava A89 is coming soon, and will be priced at Rs 5,999. There is a 5.0 megapixel camera on the back with LED flash. The front camera is 2 megapixel unit, with an LED flash. This phone is powered by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery. The A89 also supports GPS connectivity. This model is also guaranteed to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The camera has an HDR mode, and a photo timer grid. All three new phones can record videos in HD, and support HD video playback. The phones have a video picture in picture mode, that allows users to continue using the device without interrupting video playback. There is also a custom implementation of touchscreen gestures. The music player can be controlled without needing to turn on the screen. The phones support WiFi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity apart from 4G.
