Kingmax Releases World's Largest MicroSD 64 GB Card

If you’ve felt that your mobile device isn’t large enough to carry all your media files, Kingmax is here with a solution. While most of our current microSD cards have a maximum capacity of 32 GB, this one is a whopping 64 GB.

This card follows Class 6 specifications and Kingmax has implemented a 9 Stack Die technology on it. The card is compatible with the latest SD 3.0 specification, but Kingmax has also made it backward-compatible to follow SD 2.0. The micro SD card has a built in Error Correction Code (ECC) which supposedly auto detects and reconstructs lost data during transmission which makes it conduct a reliable transfer. The card has a Wear leveling algorithm that channels data storing across different areas of the memory card.

So, the card definitely looks like the next thing you need for storing data on your PMPs, digital cameras and other such devices that access data from microSD cards. Probably we’ll get to see more and more cell phones that can carry 64 GB.
