Microsoft Surface Pro lineup has been one of the sleeper hits of the decade which slowly and steadily captured the imagination of the users while being the perfect platform for Microsoft to showcase it's skills in crafting hardware with a unique form factor. The next generation of Surface tablet, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, is eagerly awaited and everyone is waiting to see how the company can improve on the brilliant design and pack it with more updated and powerful internals.

The internet is abuzz with rumours and possible release dates for the device and the latest as reported by TechTimes hint at a possible delay for the next generation Surface Pro Tablet to the market, owing to the launch of the latest Intel processors based on Kaby Lake architecture to happen somewhere near the year end.

The delay is likely considering the launch cycle of devices which is followed by Microsoft. Unlike Apple, Microsoft does not have a regular  fixed product cycle refresh for the Pro series tablet.

The other improvements that are anticipated include a better battery along with a 4K screen and more storage options.
