John McAfee's D-Central to bring untraceable Internet usage on Android and iOS

Antivirus software founder John McAfee who is infamous for certain reasons is working on a new device that allows accessing Internet without being traced. He plans to build this security tool, owing to the most recent revelations about the NSA. He has even gone ahead and made a really crazy video (lots of foul language) that advises users to uninstall McAfee. It should be noted that John McAfee has not been associated with the company for the past 15 years. 

At the C2SV Technology Conference, he disclosed to build a gadget called “D-Central” which will communicate with smartphones, tablets, and laptops for creating decentralized networks that government agencies won’t be able to access. The D-Central would work by creating small private networks which serve as dark web, not accessible by others. He also mentions to have been working on the technology for the past few months.

Looking for Internet privacy

It will not replace the Internet, but rather, it will only provide a localized dynamic network that allows users to communicate and share data in private. McAfee further says that the gadget is localized and has a range of around three blocks. It will offer public and private modes.

McAfee reveals that he has the design in place and the prototype of the device just six months away. Now, if the device ever enters the market, there could be other security concerns too. Such a device could be misused by some malicious hands too. McAfee says, “Of course it will be used for nefarious purposes, just like the telephone is used for nefarious purposes." If banned in the US, he plans to sell it in other regions. He plans to sell it for less than $100.
