Jionet wifi service now available at Andal airport in West Bengal

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has announced the launch of its Jionet wireless services at the Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport located in the Andal, Durgapur subdivision in West Bengal. The airport connects towns such as Burdwan, Bankura, Bishnupur among others in South Bengal and Bokaro and Dhanbad in Jharkhand. The service is being provided free of cost for a limited time period so that customers can use Jionet. Speaking at the launch of the service, Reliance Jio Infocomm said, “High speed data connectivity is one of the foundations on which smart cities will be built on and is key enabler to increase GDP of the nation. We at Jio continually harness technology to bridge the Digital Divide and this initiative is one such step in the direction. ‘Jionet’ services would assist passengers at Andal airport to sample the digital ecosystem that Jio has built, comprising specially designed apps and rich content running on Jio’s fibre based high speed data networks.” The internet session will be valid for 24 hours after which you will be asked to put in a new code for the next 24 hours. If there is no activity on the user account for 30 minutes, the user will be automatically logged off.
