Reliance Jio would launch a free voice and unlimited data offer for Rs 49 on **Republic Day** (26 January) for its JioPhone users, a company statement said here on 25 January. [caption id=“attachment_4320593” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  JioPhone.[/caption] “JioPhone users will enjoy free voice calls and unlimited data (1GB at high speed) for 28 days at a price of only Rs 49. Jio is also introducing affordable data add-ons at Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101,” the statement said. The company said **digital** disempowerment and unfairness must end and it could be achieved in three ways, connectivity, data affordability, and device affordability.
