Jio.com along with iOS and Android service apps go live!

It has been almost a month since Jio extended its 4G network preview using a referral program , allowing more users to hop on and try its service, and giving the company valuable feedback in the bargain. While the complete roll out of its 4G LTE network is expected to take place only in December 2016, the company suddenly decided to take its official website, Jio.com and its services live. ![Jio com apps services](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Jio-com-apps-services.jpg) While interested users will not be able to get a sneak peek into Jio’s 4G tariffs, they will get a preview about the 11 new services in the form of apps that can be downloaded after getting a glimpse of what they do. These services would include MyJio, JioChat, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioJoin, JioMoney and JioSecurity, which are currently available for download on both iOS and Android devices. The website also has a small form at the bottom of the page for users interested in Jio’s 4G services, giving them a space to sign up for further updates. ![Jio com app download iOS Android](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Jio-com-app-download-iOS-Android.jpg) Coming to the services that are available in the form of apps, most users will only find the JioChat app accessible. The rest of the apps demand a Jio 4G SIM on your device or a Jio ID and password. While the apps are available for download on their respective app stores, the services (other than JioChat) are only accessible to those who are currently connected to the Jio 4G network. While the services are active, and accessible to a lucky few, Jio has been busy launching its LYF-branded VoLTE capable smartphones. Reliance Jio recently launched its LYF Flame 4 smartphone that delivers 4G LTE on a budget. The device features a quad-core 1.5GHz chipset, 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a 5MP rear camera for a price tag that reads Rs 3,999. Disclaimer: Reliance Jio is owned by Reliance Industries, who also own Network18, the publisher of Firstpost and tech2.
