One of Hollywood’s biggest producers, Jerry Bruckheimer, has firmly turned his sights to the world of video games by collaborating with none other than MTV games (why Jerry why?) to develop a bunch of original video games.

In case you didn’t know Bruckheimer is the man who’s financed movies like Bad Boys (I and II), Con Air, The Rock, Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, POTC, etc. etc. and he’s even in charge of overseeing the latest Prince of Persia flick that should hit theaters sometime in 2009.

Here’s what he had to say on the whole deal, “Video games represent a new and innovative medium for what we’ve always tried to do, which is to tell great stories. But this medium is unique in that it gives the player control over how those stories unfold. I look forward to working with MTV Games to create new original game stories, always looking for ways to innovate the medium.”

Fingers crossed all the way.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
