Contrary to what most of his lawsuits may make you believe, Jack Thompson is actually a (remotely) reasonable man who, if the situation demands, may make sense once in a while.
The situation I’m talking about is the misrepresentation of BioWare’s Mass Effect by TV channel Fox, which claimed the game was graphically explicit, allowing players to indulge in “full digital nudity and sex”.
Not only is their information totally FUBAR but they’ve completely misled their audience by making such ridiculous claims. Either way, in a recent email exchange with game blog Kotaku , Thompson said that he had absolutely no problem with this game and that “this contrived controversy is absolutely ridiculous”.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office.
