Jabra launches the Elite Sport wireless earbuds with IP67 rating for Rs 18,990

Along with the freedom of movement offered by wireless earbuds, the devices also provide in-ear heart rate monitor for fitness analysis.


Jabra has launched the Elite Sport wireless earbuds, the first product under the new Elite lineup. The earbuds will be available from 8 August and are priced at Rs 18,990. Along with the freedom of movement offered by wireless earbuds, the devices also provide in-ear heart rate monitor for fitness analysis. The Elite Sport supports both Android and iOS devices.

To reduce background noise, the Elite Sport automatically analyses external sounds and switches to the earbud with the least amount of external noise for superior in call experience. There are four microphones on the pair of earbuds for the intelligent switching, with one microphone in each device catching the voice, while the other monitors external noise.

The earbuds provide 4.5 hours of listening to audio or calls, and the carry case provides an additional 9 hours of charging. For sports enthusiasts, there is in-ear voice coaching available with realtime analysis. The earbuds also offer automatic fitness testing, a recovery advisor, and a race predictor. Training management is provided with the Jabra Sport Life app, and leading third party fitness applications are also supported.

There is a three year warranty against sweat, and the device are certified with a water resistance of IP67, allowing them to work for at least half an hour while submerged under a one meter of water.
