When it rains, it pours. Leaks of Nokia’s rumoured Android phone, Normandy, seem to be coming by the dozen. After the UI and screenshots of the phone leaked, an image of a prototype phone, thought to be Normandy, has now leaked. The image was posted on Twitter by @seamissu and received a stamp of validation by serial leakster @evleaks with the latter retweeting it. The picture does not give us any further information about the alleged Android phone by Nokia, but it does give us a closer look at the body of the phone. On the phone itself, there is just one back button, and a front facing camera can be seen too. The picture does not reveal a lot else since there’s a cover in which the phone is encased. The start screen simply shows Nokia’s logo, keeping the suspense as to whether this is really an Android phone or simply an Asha one. [caption id=“attachment_208381” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] Is this Normandy?[/caption] If rumours are to be believed, Nokia’s Normandy is set to be an entry level Android phone that will run version 4.4 KitKat. It will house a forked version of Android, much like Amazon features with its Kindle Fire tablets. A closer look at the **UI screenshots** leaked by @evleaks showed that the phone will have dual-SIM capabilities and design elements borrowed from both Nokia’s Asha and Lumia models. A **further leak** also pointed at the phone running on a 3.4.0 Kernel, hinting at ART optimisation by Nokia. It is also slated to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor of an unspecified model. It will feature a 5-megapixel camera and the screen resolution of the phone is set to be 854 x 480. If reports are to be believed, Nokia will be unveiling Normandy at the MWC, slated to be held next month. If all goes well, we may finally get an Android powered Nokia in March.
