Apple’s iPad mini with Retina Display screen is now available online on the official Apple website, but for US users. The bigger screen iPad Air was released on 1 November and Apple had said that the 7.9-inch iPad mini with Retina Display would be launched later in November.
The device is now available on Apple’s website with an estimated shipping period of five to 10 days.
_Reuters_ had previously reported ahead of the launch that the iPad mini with Retina Display faced a supply shortage. As far as features go, the iPad mini has the same 7.9-inch screen size as the previous iteration of the device but with Retina Display quality. The screen resolution is now 20481536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch (ppi) which is much higher than the previous version which had a 163 ppi screen resolution.
