Apple's iOS 7.1 update expected to arrive 'any day' now

While we’ve been hearing about the iOS 7.1 release  slated for March , John Gruber of  Daring Fireball has revealed in a brief note that the company’s iTunes Festival Application will require the iOS 7.1 update. With the iTunes Festival to make its US debut next week, this means that iOS 7.1 is likely to launch ‘any day’ now.   Apple had already released the pre-release version of the iOS 7.1 to developers for testing in November. In fact, we’ve already seen about five beta releases of iOS 7.1, the last of which was released in February. Last week, the company also reportedly  rolled out mass deployment tools for IT professionals to launch large numbers of iOS devices in enterprise or education sectors.   According to  AppleInsider, Apple is also preparing an update to enhance Touch ID that is expected to fix a “fade” issue iPhone 5s users have been facing. However, it isn’t yet confirmed if the update will be a part of iOS 7.1.   The iOS 7.1 is expected to come as a great relief for users who have been having a less than satisfactory experience with iOS 7.   It is expected to bring along some major bug fixes, something that Apple users have been waiting for. It was earlier reported that along with other issues, that users with multiple Apple devices, had been complaining of the “White screen of death” with iOS 7. The bug which randomly reboots the iOS device, has been around since September.   Apart from that, the OS has also caused several older Apple devices, such as the iPhone 4s to drastically slow down.   The Cupertino-based company had said that it was  **aware of the issue**  that caused random crashes on iOS 7 devices and was working on **bringing out a fix soon** .
