Google Glass has got some cool new apps which were revealed at Google's annual developer conference, I/O. The list includes Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, CNN and some more.
"We are all collectively figuring out what the best experience is with Glass," Google's Senior Developer Advocate Timothy Jordan said during the Google event where the apps were shown. Currently Google Glass had two third-party apps namely Path and New York Times.
Here's a quick look at some of the apps that are now on Glass:
Facebook: The emphasis seems to be on photos and for now it lets you share photos from Glass with your Facebook friends.
Twitter: Twitter posted on their official blog about the app as well. The app lets you share photos, and the tweet will automatically include the text, "Just shared a photo #throughglass" when you do. Users will also be able keep up with who they follow on Twitter through notifications and you will get to know about mentions, direct messages and Tweets. Users can reply to, retweet or favorite from Glass app itself.
Tumblr app: Like Facebook, this one too allows users to share photos on Tumblr.
CNN:This will let users subscribe to different topics, and pick the frequency in which they should see those stories. It lets you customize what kind of news should be sent to your Glass.
Evernote: Evernote's Glass app has support for lists.
ELLE:Sends fashion news to your Glass and will read out stories aloud.
