Intex launches IT-12000SUF 2.0 tower speaker for Rs 9,400

Intex Technologies recently launched its 2.0 tower speaker—the IT-12000SUF. This speaker is enclosed in a wooden structure, and promises a sound output of 84W.

Intex launches IT-12000SUF 2.0 tower speaker for Rs 9,400

Intex Technologies recently launched its 2.0 tower speaker—the IT-12000SUF. This speaker is enclosed in a wooden structure, and promises a sound output of 84W. According to the company, this speaker is aimed at music enthusiasts who typically range between the age group of 14-40 years. Intex states that the speaker can be attached to most hardware, such as home theatres, PCs, etc.

Commenting on the speaker system, Vikram Kalia, General Manager - Product Management, Intex Technologies, said, “At Intex, we always aimed at bringing world class technology in all forms of gadgets at affordable prices.  The new 2.0 tower speaker is a step forward in our commitment to deliver advanced audio equipment in a way that it is accessible to large section of the masses. We already have three models in the range which is much appreciated and has received overwhelming responses from our end users. We believe that we will meet the expectation of our end users again with this premium product from our range.”
 
The company claims the speaker can play most popular MP3 audio formats from personal devices like PCs, notebooks, mobile phones, DVD players, mp3 players, TVs, VCRs, etc. It also supports FM radio and allows users to play music stored in a USB drive or memory card.

Intex has bundled a cordless mic that works within a specified range. It includes a fully functional remote control.

The speaker is available at a price of Rs 9,400 and comes with 12 months’ warranty.

Intex recently launched a mobile phone, Aura. As per an official statement, the phone has been designed for consumers across all age categories. The dual-SIM Aura sports a 1.3-megapixel camera, and is powered by an 1,800 mAh battery that can give users up to five hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of standby time. The phone is priced at Rs 1,690.

The Aura has an FM radio with live recording, Bluetooth with A2DP, and a USB port for connecting it with computers. It comes bundled with in-built entertainment options that include preloaded games, a video player that can run avi, 3gp, and mp4 files, and an audio player that supports mp3 and wav.

The phone supports a micro SD card that’s expandable up to 16 GB. A phone book with a maximum capacity of 500 contacts, auto call record, mobile tracker, torch, and GPRS/ WAP are some of the other features being offered. It supports both Hindi and English, and is available in three colours - red, white and black.
