Intex launches Aqua Power+ with 4000mAh battery at Rs 8,999

Intex launches Aqua Power+ with 4000mAh battery at Rs 8,999

Intex has added a new budget smartphone, the Intex Aqua Power+, to its portfolio in India at Rs 8,999. The highlight of the device is its 4000mAh battery that promises a talk time of up to 20 hours and stand by time of 500 hours. The device sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. It comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM. On storage front, it gets 16GB (12GB usable) onboard space that is expandable up to 32GB. The dual-SIM smartphone also runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The Intex Aqua Power+ features a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone also comes pre-loaded with games and apps. Initially, the device will be exclusively available at Reliance retail stores. It will be available in Black-Champagne, White-Champagne, Champagne and Black-Silver. It will also come bundled with free flip cover. Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, head, Mobile, Intex Technologies said, “The upgrade Aqua Power + is another addition to the Aqua series. The Aqua power + is a great smartphone boasting vivid display, excellent battery backup, vibrant picture excellence at an incredible price point. At Intex, it is our determination to persistently understand and deliver to our customer expectations.” Earlier this month, the company launched the **Aqua Speed HD** at a similar price of Rs 8,999. It’s a variant of the **Intex Aqua Speed** with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution.
